Dovercourt House, Toronto, Ontario

We work with some of the top session and live musicians and composers in Canada as well as event planners, visual artists, dancers, theatre companies and filmmakers inside some of the most renowned venues in the city.  We work hard to cultivate a good working relationship with our clients so as to gain a full understanding of their needs.  Read some of what they have to say about us........

In all the years we’ve been working together, Groove Moves’ batting average has been 1.000%. There are no ‘buts’ here, it’s all about always getting done what needs to get done. And they do it. Plus, they’re easy to work with. If it sounds ideal, that’s because it is.

Thank you for always being so efficient and reliable and for adding that special touch that makes our annual Staff Appreciation BBQ a successful event, year after year. Our staff enjoy your eclectic taste in music. You always are happy to work with me to make prize announcements, games and speeches even more special by adding special sound effects when required that you make come to life, which add to a more enjoyable time. You really are always a pleasure to work with, easy to deal with and a very experienced and professional DJ, we are very honoured to have you here at our BBQ year after year. Thank you so much for all of your work and creativity Rob. See you in July again!

Groove Moves has set up a sound system for us for the last two years at our Queen’s Park rally. It has been a pleasure to work with them. Organizing a rally involving hundreds of participants can be stressful, but all we had to do was tell Groove Moves what we needed, where, and when. They took care of the rest in a manner that was professional, courteous, and trustworthy — at a very reasonable price.

Rob is a superhero mover! He has worked with us for years and is always reliable, flexible, fair and careful. He is a talented problem solver who understands the needs of artists and has always taken on what ever we ask of him with bravery and good humour.
Groove Moves is a great service powered by great people-highly recommended!

Rob Ball has been “the sound guy” for the talent show at the Huron Street Public School annual fundraiser for four years now. He is calm and extremely capable but he is great with the kids too. He goes from a shy 1st grader quietly playing Ode to Joy on the piano to a large group of grade 6 girls singing Shakira and makes them all sound their best and feel like professionals. This is the only expense that doesn’t generate any direct revenue for our fundraiser yet there is never any debate about the value to the school and the event. Groove Moves is indispensable.
— Rebecca Scovel; Huron Street Public School
Rob and his crew were able to perform under lots of pressure in a very tight window, I was back in the groove in no time! These guys have saved my sweet derriere more than once where my studio needed to be up and running immediately.
— Roger St. Denis; producer/composer
In a nutshell, Groove Moves has without a doubt saved my ass on many occasions! I am blessed to have had an amazing relationship with Rob and the good people at Groove Moves for more than 10 years. Always reliable, always professional, and always on time - what more can one ask in a cartage company? Thanks Rob! It is an understatement to say, your services and integrity over the years have been so greatly appreciated!!!
